Our History
Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Charitable Association - Zarqa, is a registered charitable association with the Ministry of Social Development, pioneering in caring for orphan children and children without family support. Established in 1972 to be a safe home providing comprehensive care and protection. We provide integrated residential services including food, drink, housing, and comprehensive health, educational, social, and psychological care, on a voluntary basis without aiming to make profits.
Our Facilities
The association consists of four floors:
First Floor
Events hall with proceeds going to orphans
Second Floor
Administration, dining hall, and playroom
Third Floor
Orphans' bedrooms and medical clinic
Fourth Floor
Rooftop, clothing storage, and laundry room
Management Board
The association is managed by a board elected by the general assembly according to the associations' regulations, consisting of 12 members, with a three-year term.
Our Qualified Staff
Orphans are supervised by qualified and specialized staff with higher degrees, including substitute mothers and social and psychological specialists, to ensure advanced care to help orphans and support them psychologically, educationally, and socially, preparing a qualified generation capable of interacting in society.
